Refund and Delivery Policy

1. Delivery Slots: Slots indicated are categorized in such manner, considering the traffic conditions in the city limits. We will try to execute all orders as per customers preference but cannot be considered as mandatory in certain abnormal traffic conditions such as processions, road blocks / road works, diversions etc.
2. Orders placed before 2 pm will be considered for same day delivery, provided the cake design chosen can be prepared within the agreed slot.
3. Cash On Delivery is not accepted by us.
4. Order will be delivered to the address mentioned during the order confirmation only. If address is incorrect / our delivery executive is unable to find the location or where delivery has to be made is locked, recipient of order is not available, we will call the contact person and they should receive the order at the location only. No change of location is accepted during order delivery. In such conditions we will consider as “Order delivered” and no refund will be given.
5. If for any reason, the delivery is "refused by recipient", the order will be considered as delivery attempted and no refund will be given.
6. If the delivery executive is not granted entry into the community where delivery is scheduled, it’s the responsibility of the recipient to make arrangements to support our executive reach the correct door number. In case the community has issues to provide entry, we will contact the receiver to receive the cake in the closest location. If this is not acceptable by the receiver, we will consider as “Order delivered” and no refund will be given.
7. If for certain reasons, the area of delivery / location is not accessible due to water logging, extreme weather conditions, riots, bandh etc, we will deliver to the nearest locality only, after discussion with contact person.
8. Only one delivery attempt will be made, as per ordered time slot. Please confirm availability of recipient before choosing delivery time. If recipient is not available at the time of delivery, second attempt will not be made, and order will be considered as delivered. No refund will be made in such case.
9. Order once placed cannot be re-scheduled, as our backend starts the preparation activity upon receipt of order. However customer could call our support contact number to check if rescheduling can be done. Agreeability to reschedule the slot is solely the discretion of Rakshanas Cakes n Bakes.
